NO… PR is more specialized… Mass Comm is general and probably gives you more options.

That depends on what exactly you want to do.

You don't need an MBA to work in the top ad agencies. They want youth, creativity… and the ability to work all night long… night after night after night. If you have a decent undergrad degree and the kind of charisma and spark and energy they thrive on, they don't care about graduate work.

In comparison, if you want more of a long-term marketing management career rather than ad agencies, then the MBA would probably help. But strongly advise that you wait and get a few years real world work experience under your belt first, rather than going straight from undergrad to grad school. Corporations don't like to have to teach professional job skills to 24-25 year old MBA's… they would rather hire someone a little more mature who already understands how to work well in a corporate office.

Either way, if you are just finishing your undergrad degree, go get a job. The time to examine the MBA question is after you have worked for at least 2-3 years.

Depends on what kind of career path you want to go on.

If you want to be a writer, then just write and pund the pavement with your script, or take a sideline job doing coverage as a reader (reading bad scripts is a great teacher for learning what makes a script good). Writing is also a good jump off point to becoming a director or a producer.

If you want to work more in the production or the post-production end of things. You can look for assignments as a production assistant, and then move up from there to 2nd AD, 1st AD, cinematographer, etc.

Or if you choose to go the indy route, you can wear all of these hats at the same time.

The key to this is that the whole time you work at these early jobs, you build and maintain a network that will lead to more and better work.

1.Decide what you want to do in life and research all the options on those two then decide whic of the opportunities suits you best based on yourself and preferences.
2.I like Mass Comm though since you need to know a lot of things .You could try be a bizz reporter that way you incorporate both.If a pathosociologist could get work in a police department and end up looking at forensic departments why not you taking Mass Comm and become a bizz journalist.
And who knows your mass comm knowleedge could be applied in marketing or public relations companies.
